Jennifer Boznos

Founder and lead trainer

Boznos has been teaching behavior modification to owners and their dogs since she founded Call of the Wild in 1992.

In addition to teaching group classes and private lessons, she is the lead trainer of Call of the Wild’s day training program, which includes the Intensive Training Experience (ITE). She created COTW’s unique daycare program.

Boznos has been certified as a Master Trainer in Chris Bach’s THE THIRD WAY. Boznos is also a professional member of APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers).

In addition to running Call of the Wild and its training programs, Boznos competes on a national level with her border collies in AKC and UKC obedience competitions, and in United States Border Collie Handlers Association sheepdog trials. In 2012 she qualified two dogs for the National Sheepdog Finals in Klamath Falls, OR.

Her primary influence comes from her mentor Chris Bach, founder of the THE THIRD WAY. Boznos also studies with 12- time national sheepdog champion Alasdair MacRae. In 2009, Boznos was one of ten trainers to travel to the garbage dump in Mexico City to study the feral dog population with Dr. Raymond Coppinger. Other notable influences include Sue Sternberg and Suzanne Clothier.

Boznos is a member of the Wisconsin Working Stockdog Association and is a former evaluator for the Canine Therapy Corps in Chicago.

Jasmine Haldane

Training Manager

Jasmine has been with Call of the Wild since 2010.

She competes in AKC/UKC/Cyno-Sport Obedience and Rally-O, as well as competitive sheep herding with her dogs: RACH "Foxy" CD RM4 RAE2 CGC TKP, "Swing" RAE CGCA TKP and "Dan" CGC (the baby of the family!).

Jasmine teaches advanced level classes, as well as specialty classes such as Tricks Class, Bike with your Dog, Fit with Fido, Rally-O, and more! She helps runs the ITE program alongside Jennifer and manages the Additional Training (A.T.) day program. Jasmine has been handler to several Call of the Wild dogs, earning them titles in Rally-O, and her students have gone on to receive numerous titles in Rally-O as well.
