Daycare
Call of the Wild is a training school first and foremost. Our daycare program was developed to complement our training. Daycare is offered as a service to our training clients, and dogs in our daycare must have a training relationship with us.
Our clients work hard at their dogs’ training and our staff is committed to maintaining good behaviors.
Please note that we are currently wait listing new daycare clients. If you are interested in training or boarding with us, please contact our office at

NOT YOUR ORDINARY DAYCARE…
Your dog’s day is highly structured and dogs alternate between playgroups, rest periods, outdoor potty walks, and training sessions (if scheduled).
The daycare staff is supervised by owner Jennifer Boznos, and the training team works closely with the daycare staff to create the safest and most appropriate playgroups for the dogs in our care.
DAYCARE FEATURES
-
We respect your housebreaking efforts! All dogs are taken for outdoor potty walks every two hours.
-
Playgroups are continually evaluated for safety. Big dogs and small dogs play separately. Rough play is not allowed. The training team and daycare staff work closely together to make sure play is appropriate and training behaviors are maintained.
-
Owners may request “naps” for their dogs. Some dogs need rest breaks during the day.
-
Crate training, greeting behavior and sit maintain are behaviors practiced everyday.
-
Our daycare staff is required to take training classes. They are familiar with the cue system you are teaching your dog. Everybody speaks the same language.

*Canine influenza vaccination (H3N2): As of March 2023, due to the national shortage of this vaccine, we are waiving our requirement for this vaccine in favor of a strong recommendation, if you are able to get it. If your vet does have the H3N2 vaccine available, we recommend that it is given 7 days prior to your dog attending daycare, as your dog will be able to mount a more sufficient immune response 7 days post-vaccine. If your dog is not up to date with the H3N2 vaccination, we recommend that you confer with your vet about the safety of your dog attending daycare without the H3N2.
